It’s less than a year since it opened, and already the First Direct Arena in Leeds has played host to some of the biggest names in music. From Bruce Springsteen to Miley Cyrus, Elton John to André Rieu and lots more in between. Later this year star names such as Dolly Parton, The Eagles and Pearl Jam will be gracing the stage. However tonight, there’s somebody a bit special playing… For the first time ever, the little genius that is Prince will be performing in Leeds. He has already caused quite a stir this year by playing little venues in both London and Manchester with his new band 3RD EYE GIRL, now he appears in Yorkshire for the first in 20 years.
